The BASIK syringe uses a silicone O-ring-style gasket that will not stick. This makes the BASIK syringe perfect for reusing many times. BASIK O Rings are suitable for various applications, including enteral feeding, tube feeding, bolus feeding, and hand feeding. BASIK O Rings are also very popular for culinary and crafting purposes, as well as in the garden, auto repair, artistic community, and literally hundreds of other uses.
Are BASIK O-ring syringes safe to use?
Yes, our syringes are DEHP, BPA, and latex-free, making them a healthier choice for users. Plus, silicone is an inert material that will not interact with the contents of the syringe. In fact most syringes are individually packed and sterilized for that extra step of perfection.
How do I clean and maintain my syringes?
Our syringes are dishwasher-safe, making cleaning easier. For optimal maintenance, it is recommended to disassemble the syringe and wash it with warm, soapy water or place it in the dishwasher. Ensure that all components are thoroughly dried before reassembly.
Do your syringes come with any accessories?
Yes, each syringe comes with caps. Caps eliminate the spillage of contents. They are also handy for filling several syringes and storing them for later use.
Can I use your syringes for food applications?
Our syringes are perfect for tube feeding, enteral feeding, bolus feeding and hand feeding. BASIK O-rings are the preferred product for people on a blended diet. The materials used in our syringes are safe for food contact, making them an excellent choice for various kitchen applications.
Why Does The Syringe Wrapping Say 'Single Use Only' If BASIK O-rings Are Reusable?
Except for our 60cc Luer Lock, all BASIK O-rings are individually packaged and sterilized to prevent breakage and enhance product quality. FDA regulations require that a sterile product be labeled for single use so that people do not think it maintains sterility after use and washing.
What is the warranty on your syringes?
We stand behind the quality of our products. Each syringe comes with a warranty that covers manufacturing defects and breakage during shipping to you. We'll either replace the syringe if it arrives broken or issue a refund for the broken item.
